It’s been a busy Q1 here at Mantelpiece PR; between hosting breakfasts in the sky and attending Beauty & the Beast champagne receptions, we’ve had a fun and productive few months!
In February, we organised a press breakfast at the Sky Gardens to celebrate the launch of Eyelergy Eye Drops. Consultant Optometrist, Patricia O’Connor, was on hand to explain all the benefits of using Eyelergy, the causes and symptoms of hay fever, and tips on how to combat it. All those in attendance enjoyed a delicious breakfast and breath-taking, panoramic views of London. Equipped with beautifully landscaped gardens, observation decks and an open-air terrace with London’s highest public garden, the Sky Garden was the perfect venue.
February also saw us off to Ireland for a Venus event in Dublin. Held at the luxurious Westbury Hotel and with a guest list of twenty of the most prestigious Irish bloggers & journalists, our guests were treated to an Express Venus Freeze treatment, which targets wrinkley or crepey skin on the face or body to combat the appearance of ageing. Venus Freeze boasts an immediate noticeable improvement after just one treatment, making it perfect as a Venus taster. Once the treatments were over, our VIP’s were treated to getting their hair and make-up done while gaining some tips and tricks from industry experts. It’s fair to say all those in attendance left the event feeling pampered!
March saw the launch of an extremely exciting collaboration between our luxury French nail brand, Soigné and Latest In Beauty. In celebration of the greatly anticipated Beauty & The Beast live-action movie, Latest In Beauty were commissioned by Disney to create a Belle Beauty Box. Soigné’s gorgeous, classic red rose shade ‘Betteraves Rouges’ was the perfect fit for the brief – natural, classy and French! Latest In Beauty made sure the box launched in style, with an elegant champagne & canape reception, hosted in the charming Belgravia Room of the Lanesborough Hotel. With no expense spared, the room was decorated beautifully with rose petals and there was even a live pianist playing the classic ‘Tale As Old As Time’; the night was completely enchanting. To top it off, we provided a manicure service throughout the evening, giving guests the chance to try the gorgeous polishes out for themselves.
March also brought the conclusion of PureHA’s first clinical trial; the results were finally released and we couldn’t be happier with them! Organised by Dr Simon Berrisford of Select Medical Group with eight participants, PureHA’s study came out with some outstanding results, with 80% of participants aged between 40-75 noticing an improvement in skin laxity over the course of two months.
Q1 also saw us overseeing an exciting Viveve video shoot! We had the fun of sourcing props for the set and helping out behind the scenes. Filmed in a trendy Shoreditch studio, the day was full of fun and productivity and we cannot wait to see the final edit.
We’re now well on our way to an equally busy and successful Q2!
